Poco F6 series
The POCO F7 Pro was recently spotted on the IMDA certification site, although POCO has not yet made any official announcements regarding the upcoming POCO F7 series phones. The new POCO F7 Ultra and the vanilla POCO F7 have appeared on the same certification website, suggesting they are being developed and may be released soon. Certification websites such as GSMA and IMEI have already listed the purported POCO F7 series phones. The upcoming smartphones will reportedly succeed POCO F6 series. Check out all details here.

According to a report by My Smartprice, POCO will soon release two new smartphones with the model numbers 24122RKC7G and 2412DPC0AG, spotted on the IMDA certification. Future POCO smartphones will come equipped with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, and 5G mobile connectivity. The certification suggests that the smartphone's worldwide release is getting closer. Other than the model number and connectivity information, the smartphones' other specifications are not disclosed by the IMDA certification.

Rumor has it that the POCO F7 series will carry on the company's strategy of providing premium displays at affordable costs. While the Pro model might have a higher-resolution 2K display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the standard POCO F7 is probably going to have a 1.5K flat-screen display.

According to reports, the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset may power the POCO F7. However, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, one of the most potent processors in the Android ecosystem, may help the Pro version step up the game.

There are also rumors that the battery's capacity and charging speed will be improved. A battery of at least 6,000mAh and 90W fast charging may be included in both models.

POCO's close alignment with Xiaomi's Redmi lineup is a crucial component of its strategy. According to industry insiders, the POCO F7 may be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 4, which is consistent with Redmi's history of rebranding devices for international markets. But as of yet, no formal confirmation has been made.

Expectations for the launch timeline and price

Although POCO has not formally announced when the F7 series will launch, the fact that several models have been seen on certification websites raises the possibility that the devices will make their debut shortly. The new lineup is anticipated to stay in the mid-range segment, making it a desirable option for consumers on a budget, given that the F6 series' starting price in India was Rs 29,999.

OpenAI has unveiled a comprehensive update to its Model Spec, a document detailing the expected behaviour of its AI models. This expanded version, now 63 pages long compared to the previous 10, is available for free use and modification. It outlines guidelines on handling sensitive topics and user customisation, focusing on customisability, transparency, and "intellectual freedom."

The updated specifications focus on several key areas. Transparency is paramount, with OpenAI providing more detailed information about the model's training data, architecture, and limitations.
