Apple's first hardware event of 2024- "Let Loose" is all set for the next month. This will be the company's first major launch event in 2024, wherein the Cupertino-based tech giant is expected to launch the new upgraded iPad Pro and iPad Air alongside the Apple Pencil. The company has only announced the date. However, exact details about the launches are still under wraps. The event will be live-streamed via the company's official channels. The next-generation iPad Pro models are expected to be backed by an M3 chip and sport OLED screens for the first time.

Apple has dropped an invite for its virtual launch event, scheduled to take place at 7 am PT (7:30 pm IST) on May 7. The tech giant has shared that the show will be live-streamed via its official website and Apple TV app. This year, Apple has named its event “Let Loose”. The event poster can be seen with a drawing of a hand holding an Apple Pencil suggesting that iPad will be the key focus of the event.

While Apple hasn't revealed any key details, it is expected to release new iPad Air and iPad Pro models in the upcoming event. The iPad Pro models will reportedly come with OLED displays and an M3 chip making it one of the most capable iPads. They have also been said to get thinner bezels. They are also tipped to be available in "glossy and matte screen versions" and could offer MagSafe wireless charging support. They could feature a revamped rear camera module and a landscape-oriented front camera.

Additionally, the iPad Air is said to run on an M2 chip and is likely to be available in two screen sizes- 10.9-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes. The company could also launch an updated Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil with a new squeeze gesture feature along with the new tablets. The new Apple Pencil could be compatible with both the iPad Air and the iPad Pro. It is also likely to offer more precision with lower latency and higher pressure sensitivity

Apart from these, the company is also expected to introduce a new Magic Keyboard with a sturdier build, better keyboard, and a larger trackpad.
