Search engine giant Google on Thursday celebrated the climbing sports at the ongoing Paris Olympics with a special animated doodle. The tech giant has been celebrating the Paris 2024 Olympics with a series of playful Doodles, highlighting each sports disciplines and the latest one highlights the sport climbing for the second consecutive day. The graphically dynamic doodle depicts Google's iconic birds climbing a Parisian structure adorned with Gothic gargoyles. It symbolises the challenges athletes face in this thrilling sports event.

"Hold off on those other plans because this main event is gripping! Victory is just within reach for the Climbing contestants!," read the note shared by Google. Today's Google Doodle artfully represents climbers in action, navigating intricate routes on a colorful climbing wall, with spirit of competition and the pursuit of excellence.

Sport Climbing events at Paris Games 2024: Details
The ongoing Sport climbing events kickstarted on August 5 and will conclude on August 10. It is being held at the Le Bourget Sport Climbing Venue in Saint-Denis. This venue has been constructed specifically for the Games, alongside a new aquatic centre. The sport climbing first made its debut in Olympics at Tokyo 2020 Games and this is their second appearance in the Olympics.

This is not the only Olympics game that Google is depicting via Doodle. On August 6, Google celebrated the artistic swimming at the Paris Olympics 2024 with an animated doodle. It depicted several birds cheering around, whereas three birds, were seen displaying their stints in a fountain, and perform in sync.

“ The Artistic Swimming competitors have two things on their mind: sync AND swim!,” said the Google in description. The duet technical routine, and the duet free routine of the artistic swimming event are slated to be held on August 9, and August 19 consecutively.
