Lenovo launched its new IdeaPad Pro 5i laptop with an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU and integrated AI capabilities. This laptop meets military-grade manufacturing standards and is aimed at content creators and heavy workloads that demand top-end performance in a portable package. The Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i is the first ever creator-based laptop with Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU. The new laptop sports 14-inch 2.8k OLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. The IdeaPad Pro 5i is also Intel Evo certified, which means it meets Intel’s standard of display quality, battery life, performance, connectivity and more for a premium experience. This thin and lightweight laptop has integrated Intel Arc graphics and AI Boost. It has six performance cores at up to 5.1GHz, eight efficiency cores, and two low-power ones.

Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i has 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Buyers also acquire stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The keyboard has a white backlight. According to the company, the laptop is powered by an 84Wh battery that will run up to 11.5 hours on a single charge. Rapid Charge Express charging technology supplements this new laptop's battery, which provides 3 hours of work backup at 15 mins of charge. The unit weighs 1.46kg and meets the MIL-STD-810H durability specification. Lenovo claims its body has been constructed using recycled materials. A robust cooling system should enable creators to work on heavy tasks without worrying about thermal damage.

From making reservations, to booking rides, setting reminders, and more, it will let users streamline their work with just one command. With this Perplexity will become potential rival to the already-established AI assistants in the market like Apple's Siri, Alexa, ChatGPT and more. This San Francisco-based startup is backed by some of the top players of the industry including tech giant Nvidia and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

The availability of app will also be expanded to iOS devices, once the developers get the necessary permissions from Apple. “If Apple gives us the right permissions, we’re ready to launch on iOS,” the company said.

Perplexity’s announcement comes just after OpenAI announced “Tasks” for its Team and Pro users on the web. The latter is said to improve users' experience by offering a more integrated and useful assistant experience.

While the rumors and reports have been suggesting that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge could debut with the Galaxy S25 Slim moniker, but it seems like Samsung wants to bring back ‘Edge' branding instead.

The new handset has been shown to sport a slim form factor and what sets it apart from other models in Samsung's new flagship lineup is the camera setup. While all three handsets in the Galaxy S25 series packs a triple rear camera setup, the new Galaxy S25 Edge will come with a dual rear camera unit comprising two lenses positioned vertically at the back.

Notably, the phone hasn't join the Galaxy S25 series launch, instead it is likely to debut in May this year. Though the company hasn't revealed any features yet, the reports suggest that the new handset could get a 6.66-inch display, which should be similar to the Galaxy S25+ model. It is also said to sport a 6.4mm thin profile without the camera module, while it may measure 8.3mm in thickness around the camera unit.

For optics, it is likely to ship with a 200-megapixel primary sensor led dual rear camera setup. Other kleaked details suggest that the phone could pack a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for Galaxy, paired with 12GB of RAM.
