Nothing Phone 1, the first-ever smartphone model from the UK-based company is now receiving the Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5.5 update. It has already been rolled out to Nothing Phone 2 users globally. Along with bug fixes, and performance improvements, the Nothing OS 2.5.5 update for Nothing Phone 1 also brings ChatGPT integration. Nothing Phone 1, the first-ever smartphone model from the UK-based company was launched with Android 12-based Nothing OS is now getting the Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5.5 update. The company has already rolled this out to Nothing Phone 2 users globally. The new update brings bug fixes, and performance improvements. Alongside, the Nothing OS 2.5.5 update for Nothing Phone 1 also brings ChatGPT integration on the handset. Users will get the Nothing OS 2.5.5 gradually, the company announced in a community post.

All the Nothing Phone 1 users can manually check for the update on their phone by heading to Settings > System > System Update > Download > Install. The Nothing OS 2.5.5 update brings in a new gesture option in the Nothing X application that will allow them to start a voice conversation with ChatGPT. This feature works via the recently launched Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear A true wireless earphones. Additionally, users will need the latest version of ChatGPT from the Play Store on their handsets to access this feature.

Nothing Phone 1 users also get a new ChatGPT widget on the home screen. Additionally, users will also get a button on the screenshot and clipboard pop-up that will let users paste content to a new ChatGPT conversation directly. The update also adds an option for the Nothing Icon Pack to the Home Screen. It is also claimed to improve App Drawer accessibility.

Furthermore, Nothing OS 2.5.5 update for Phone 1 also brings a customisable option for enabling or disabling the Quick Setting swipe-down page on the users' lock screen. Users can go to Settings > Lock Screen and AOD > Quick Settings. You can also access to new customisable icon options within the status bar via Settings > Display > Status Bar.

Apart from these, the Nothing OS 2.5.5 update fixes issues regarding automatic Wi-Fi disconnection, screenshot frame display and editing, and a "lack of vibration feedback when swiping sideways to go back on the screen." The update is also said to have resolved a problem where the earbud volume did not synchronise with the phone's volume and an issue where audio would not switch to a connected watch during calls while also paired with an earbud.

The phone first appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website last month. There, it was revealed that the phone will be sold in the nation with the model number V203. Additionally, theVivo V40e appeared on Geekbench, revealing that the Dimensity 7300 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM will be powering the phone.

Meanwhile, Vivo T3 Ultra 5G has been launched in India with two rear cameras: an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support on September 12.

It sports an autofocus, 50-megapixel selfie camera. 4K video recording at 60 frames per second (fps) is supported by both the front and rear cameras. The Vivo T3 Ultra is expected to have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with support for HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1.5K resolution, according to the listing.

It is verified to operate on a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC with 256GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM. It has an extended RAM feature that allows you to use unused storage to increase the onboard RAM to 24GB.
