The company has officially announced the launch and the teaser looks promising as it gives a sneak peek into the design of the upcoming smart wearable. OnePlus Watch 2 design teased
In a poster shared on X (previously known as Twitter), OnePlus teased the outline of the watch dial with a caption reading "It's about time." The watch is likely to have a circular body with two buttons on the right side - out of which one is likely to be the home button while the other one looks like a rotating crown. The watch is expected to be first showcased at the MWC 2024. Apart from these, the company has yet to reveal any of the key details.
However, leaks and rumors have already been making headlines suggesting some of the key features of the upcoming watch. The OnPlus Watch 2 is rumored to get a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip and could run on Wear OS. Additionally, it is tipped to sport a thick bezel around the dial and is equipped with smart health-tracking sensors as well as activity trackers.
The reports also suggest that the OnePlus Watch 2 will debut as a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6. Notably, all these details are rumors and nothing has been confirmed by the OnePlus yet.
Meanwhile, OnePlus Watch comes with a 1.39-inch HD (454x454 pixels) AMOLED display with 326 ppi pixel density and 2.5D curved glass protection. It is equipped with a gyroscope sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, an optical heart rate, and a blood oxygen sensor. Additionally, it also has an air pressure sensor, acceleration sensor, ambient light sensor, and capacitance sensor.
