POCO F6 5G Will Launch on May 23rd in India: Price and Specifications

After rumours, POCO has confirmed the launch date of POCO F6 5G smartphones, the company’s next-top flagship phone is going to be introduced in India as well as globally on May 23rd at 4:30PM IST. The teaser reveals the back of the phone, which looks exactly like the Redmi Turbo 3, introduced in China last month and powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The image shows 50 MP and OIS, and the phone is golden, but we can also expect a black one.

For the Global marketers, POCO will also launch the POCO F6 Pro alongside an in-person event in Dubai. As usual, the company will offer a live stream on both Global and Indian channels.

In addition, according to earlier information, this will be the Global version of the Redmi K70, launched in China last year and powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

POCO F6 5G: Expected Specifications

The company announced its launch date and teased its design and expected specifications. This new handset from POCO is expected to feature a 50MP rear camera with IOS and a 20MP selfie shooter. In the back, the camera is seen with two cameras placed separately, slightly raised, alongside a ring-like flashlight.

The POCO F6 should get a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED screen, and the F6 Pro should pack a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Both models must pack a 5000mAh battery with 90W/120W fast charging. Also, it was recently spotted on Geekbench with 12GB of RAM and an Android 14-based OS.

The design of the rear camera on the back is similar to the Redmi Turbo 3. Even the color seen in the teaser is reminiscent of the Redmi model's Ice Titanium option.

POCO F6 5G: Expected Price

The Redmi Turbo 3 launched in China at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,000) for the base 12GB + 256GB option. It is expected to mark a price similar to this as it looks exactly like the same. Redmi is also available in 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB variants.
