Samsung Galaxy M55s is Set to Launch on September 23; Designs and Features Teased

Samsung is gearing up to launch its latest mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy M55s, in India on September 23. The device has been teased with some key design elements and features. The company says that the Samsung Galaxy M55s will be released in India shortly. The forthcoming Galaxy M series smartphone from the South Korean company will have a 6.7-inch display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and come in two color options. The phone will have a 50-megapixel primary rear camera in addition to a similarly resolution selfie camera. It will come with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and up to 256GB of storage, joining the Samsung Galaxy M55 series that was introduced earlier this year.

Launch Date of the Samsung Galaxy M55s in India Announced

September 23 is the date of the Samsung Galaxy M55s' launch in India, the company revealed on Wednesday. The company's upcoming midrange smartphone will be available in Coral Green and Thunder Black colourways in India. The RAM and storage specifications for the upcoming Galaxy M55s smartphone have not yet been revealed by Samsung.

A portion of the Samsung Galaxy M55s' specifications have been made public ahead of launch thanks to an Amazon microsite. A 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,000nits is confirmed for the smartphone. According to Samsung, the phone's 7.8mm thickness is the same as the Galaxy M55 model, which debuted in India in April.

Prior to the smartphone's release, Samsung is also promoting the Galaxy M55s' camera specs. It is confirmed to have an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 50-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). It will work with Samsung's No Shake Cam mode as well as its "Nightography" low light camera features.
